Maker of fine wood Bowls from New Zealand Rimu

For the last twenty five years Lynne and I have been crafting our bowls from Rimu Wood. The Rimu tree is indigenous to New Zealand and is from the podocarpus genus. It is one the world's finest decorative timbers. Rimu is very slow growing taking about 500-600years to reach maturity.

This Rimu Burl bowl is 10½ inches diameter and 11½ inches deep. The grain patterns are differrent on every side
